Discuss Microsoft 365 plan requirements, account setup, migration and administration with DeshTech. The scope should distinguish Microsoft product subscriptions from the implementation and support work performed for the business.
Discuss Your Project01 / Service fit
Plan names and included capabilities can change. Check current Microsoft product information for the specific plan and user need. A support engagement does not by itself imply Microsoft partner status or reseller authorization, and licence procurement should be confirmed explicitly.
02 / Scope
Identify users and required capabilities before selecting a plan. Record who procures licences, owns the tenant and domain, approves charges and retains administrator recovery access.
Inventory accounts, mailboxes, aliases and devices. Define the source platform, data to transfer, cutover approach and any limitations in provider-supported migration methods.
Agree account lifecycle, authentication, domain configuration and the administration tasks covered. Additional security/compliance features depend on the selected plan and actual configuration.
03 / Decisions
Map plan requirements to actual users rather than selecting a subscription solely by its name. Separate tenant administration from the business decisions about retention and access. Record administrator recovery options and the process when a staff member joins or leaves.
04 / Delivery
Begin with the current environment and the business outcome. Agree the responsibilities, deliverables and acceptance criteria before implementation. Work can then be divided into reviewable stages, with changes and dependencies recorded. The handover should identify account ownership, documentation and the route for any separately agreed ongoing support.
List what will be delivered and who accepts it. Include required access, dependencies and any third-party approvals. This creates a shared basis for reviewing progress and changes.
Identify the documentation, accounts and day-to-day tasks the business needs. Ongoing care is separately agreed; it should not rely on an assumption that launch includes unlimited future support.
05 / Budget and responsibilities
Subscriptions, implementation, migration and recurring support are different cost items. Volume of data, number of users, source-system restrictions and device requirements can affect the work. Do not assume every Microsoft security feature is included in every plan.
The final proposal determines the supported platforms, included work and operational commitments for this engagement. Third-party licences, subscriptions and provider limitations should be visible in the scope. A clearly defined first stage is more useful than assuming every related task is included.
06 / Get ready
Share the current systems or website, the task you want to improve, the people involved and the intended timeline. Include known constraints and available documentation. Do not send passwords, customer records or sensitive operational details through a public enquiry; access arrangements can be agreed privately.
Questions / Answers
The contract should identify the tenant owner, administrator access and recovery process. Business continuity should not depend on an undocumented personal account.
No. The procurement route and any applicable authorization must be confirmed for the engagement. Service support and vendor affiliation are separate matters.
Send the current website or system context, the business goal and the required functions through the project enquiry. Scope, dependencies, timing and ownership can then be discussed before a proposal is agreed.
